Free weekly mobile medical clinic
Clinic provided by Western Sierra Medical Clinic
Homeless individuals suffer from high rates of physical illness and experience mortality rates several times higher than the general population. Homeless adults tend to be hospitalized more frequently (and require longer inpatient stays) than a comparable sample of housed adults, and their homelessness may diminish the long-term effectiveness of their hospital care.
Free weekly mobile medical clinic provided by Western Sierra Medical Clinic The clinic is provided every Monday evening at the Hospitality House host church. This service is available only to registered Hospitality House guests. No appointments are required.
If you are a homeless individual in need of medical care, please contact outreach case manager Jeffrey Dupra. He can be reached at (530) 271-7144. In addition to providing on-site services at Hospitality House, the mobile medical clinic also provides services to homeless individuals at various locations in Nevada County. Jeffrey can provide you with information regarding location and times when the mobile clinic is available.
