Free weekly mobile medical clinic
Clinic provided by Western Sierra Medical Clinic
Homeless individuals suffer from high rates of physical illness and experience mortality rates several times higher than the general population. Homeless adults tend to be hospitalized more frequently (and require longer inpatient stays) than a comparable sample of housed adults, and their homelessness may diminish the long-term effectiveness of their hospital care.
This service is available to registered Hospitality House guests and other homeless Nevada County residents.
If you are a homeless individual in need of medical care, please contact our outreach case manager at (530) 271-7144. In addition to providing on-site services at Hospitality House, the mobile medical clinic also provides services to homeless individuals at various locations in Nevada County.
