Programs & Services
The programs at Hospitality House start with street outreach, meeting Nevada
County locals—because that is all we serve—right where they are, whether that is
on the street, in a camp or in their car.
Overnight safety begins at Utah’s Place, our year-round emergency shelter, where
guests find meals, showers, and case management as they begin building a path
toward permanent housing — and, through our Pet Program, they don’t have to
leave a beloved animal behind to get there.
Hospitality House case managers connect guests with CalAIM for housing
navigation, deposit assistance, and tenancy support alongside our Community
Respite program, which offers a safe place to recover for those discharged from the
hospital with nowhere else to go. Hospitality House also runs programs built around
specific needs: the Adult Reentry Grant Program helps people with minor offenses
stabilize and avoid recidivism, while the Veterans Housing program connects
homeless and at-risk veterans to emergency assistance and longer-term rental
support. And trusted local partners are found through our Community Resources
directory.
Every one of these programs hopes for the same destination — housing—which is
the reason that Hospitality House owns or manages multiple affordable housing
locations across Nevada County.
