Hi, I’m Sydnie, shelter case manager supervisor at Hospitality House. We have a great story to share this week about Travis.

Travis has been homeless on and off since 2020. When he came to Hospitality House some months ago through the outreach program, he began rebuilding his life. Hitting rock bottom motivated him to change.

. At Hospitality House Travis was able to take care of his basic needs, having access to a warm bed, regular meals and supportive case management. Regaining his stability motivated Travis to repair other aspects of his life, such as his relationship with his family, and seek stable employment.

Travis looked for jobs on his own and utilized state resources, advocating for himself and completing a job training program.

His hard work paid off. He is now gainfully employed at Tractor Supply and feels like his life is going in the right direction for the first time in a long time.

Congratulations to Travis!
