As your neighborhood favorite, Bread & Roses Thrift and More is offering a special deal in honor of Mother’s Day for all shoppers—including dad and the kids, too!
On Saturday, May 11 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the entire community is invited to fill a traditional paper grocery bag with store merchandise for just $15*.
“We encourage shoppers to get creative,” said Miranda Stuart, Store Manager. “Neatly fold a dress, tuck in a few books, add some silverware if you’d like. If it fits in the bag, it’s yours! This is a great way for families to find the perfect gift that honors mom’s unique style. It also gives mom a chance to pick out exactly what she wants for her special day.”
*The following guidelines apply to Fill-A-Bag Bargain: All items placed in a bag must be originally priced $9.99 or less, and jewelry is excluded; customers may only use the paper grocery bags supplied by the store; items cannot protrude over the top of the bag; bags cannot be ripped or torn but may be exchanged if they become ripped while shopping.
Bread & Roses Thrift and More is asking for donations of brown paper grocery bags by May 10 to ensure there are ample bags to go around. The store is located at 840 E Main Street, directly next door to Sierra Cinemas. The store is closed on Sundays, including Mother’s Day.
All sales at Bread & Roses Thrift and More support Hospitality House, the only emergency homeless shelter in Nevada County, serving hundreds of local homeless individuals each year.
