Glenwood Commons

Providing affordable housing options for Nevada County residents

Glenwood Commons

Located at 131 Glenwood Avenue in Grass Valley’s Brunswick Basin, Sierra Guest Home is a 27-unit permanent supportive housing community developed and operated by Hospitality House. The project was funded in part through a $6 million grant from the California Department of Social Services Community Care Expansion (CCE) Program and reached full occupancy in early 2026. The community comprises 25 one-bedroom units and two studio units in a single-story building of approximately 9,278 square feet. Sierra Guest Home serves adults age 55 and older — including veterans and people with physical and mental disabilities — who are exiting homelessness or at risk of housing insecurity. Residents have their own private units and access to on-site supportive services designed to promote community integration and long-term housing stability.
